All buildings in Meadowvale North Business Park have been recognized with various awards to acknowledge their environmental performance, management, or other aspects of building management.

LEED®, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design provides independent, third-party verification that a building was designed and built, or is operated using strategies aimed at achieving high performance in key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality. LEED includes certifications for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance (EBOM) and for New Construction (NC) among others. The Canada Green Building Council manages LEED certifications in Canada.www.cagbc.org

BOMA BEST® Sustainable Buildings certification recognizes excellence in energy and environmental management and performance in commercial real estate. This third-party certification is offered by Building Owners and Manages Association. www.bomabest.com

The BOMA Certificate of Excellence sets the standards in the industry and recognizes excellence in property and facility management. Certificates acknowledge performance quality and the people behind it.

The TOBY Awards, or the Building of the Year, awarded in categories based on building size, and the highest scoring Certificate of Excellence in each category is awarded the TOBY within its region. Regional winners go on to compete nationally, and national winners have the opportunity to compete internationally.

The BOMA Earth Award is awarded to the highest scoring BOMA BEST certification in the region. Similar to the TOBY awards, local winners go on to compete nationally and then internationally.  www.bomacanada.ca
